Single Vision & Progressive Lenses
Precision-crafted single vision and progressive lenses to correct your vision at every distance with clarity and comfort.
Single vision lenses correct vision at one distance — either near or far — and are the most common lens type for glasses. Progressive lenses contain a seamless gradient of multiple focal zones, correcting near, intermediate, and distance vision in a single lens without visible lines.
Based on your prescription and lifestyle needs, our team helps you select the best lens design. We take precise measurements for pupillary distance and fitting height to ensure your lenses are perfectly centered, then work with our lab to craft and verify your lenses to the highest optical standards.
Well-fitted single vision or progressive lenses reduce eye strain, minimize headaches, and provide crisp, clear vision for your daily activities — whether reading, working at a computer, driving, or enjoying the outdoors. Proper lens selection and fitting are key to maximizing your comfort.

you make an informed decision.
Who might consider this treatment?
Single vision lenses are ideal for patients who need correction at just one distance — whether for distance, computer use, or reading. Progressive lenses are a great fit for patients over 40 who need clear vision at multiple distances and prefer a seamless, line-free look.
What is the typical experience?
Our optical team will review your prescription and ask about your lifestyle, daily activities, and any previous lens frustrations. We'll take precise measurements and guide you through lens material and coating options to build the ideal lens for your life.
How long does it usually take?
The fitting and ordering process takes 20 to 30 minutes in-office. Your lenses are then sent to our optical lab and are typically ready for pickup within 7 to 10 business days.
Is there anything to keep in mind?
If you're new to progressives, be aware that most patients need a short adaptation period of 1 to 2 weeks. During this time, you may notice some peripheral distortion — this is normal and typically resolves as your visual system adjusts to the new lens design.
What should I know about recovery after?
There's no physical recovery involved. If you experience persistent difficulty adjusting to progressive lenses after 2 weeks, come back in — we'll verify your measurements and make any necessary adjustments at no additional charge.
